Masterclass and Lecture with Joe England Drama and Autism (JEDAA)
22nd July 2022 (Friday)

“By the end of the sessions, staff had gained confidence and lost their inhibitions and concerns around Drama. They had also gained a host of ideas and some simple but effective strategies to use in the classroom. It had a huge impact on all who attended. Fabulous!”  — Tracey Hartley, Teacher, Springwood Primary School (UK)

SRT Learning & Engagement is partnering with Joe England Drama and Autism (JEDAA) to provide hands-on professional development for artists and teaching professionals in Singapore.

Joe England is an expert in drama provision within Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) settings and will provide his best strategies accumulated over many years. Over the course of the masterclass, you will be prompted to begin thinking about inclusivity when conducting drama sessions.

JEDAA presents an action-packed workshop filled with top tips on integrating inclusive drama practice within an ASC setting.

Working with Joe, you will:

  • Breakdown elements of a session plan to implement with your learners
  • Build confidence in your own teaching practice
  • Explore JEDAA principles such as
  • Adaptability
  • Defining the Space
  • In-role and demonstrating
  • Use of Music
  • Work through and take away ideas on how to start a class.
